Out-of-Character Play Rules

1. Basically, don't be a jerk. Treat other players with respect and courtesy; no harassment or insults are allowed.
2. This board is rated PG-13, keep all in-character and out-of-character posts within that rating. Flights can and will be played out, but their aftermath should fade to black as soon as the female is caught. Cursing is allowed ICly, as is plots involving violence and romance. Just don't go overboard. I'd really prefer not to see rape at all.
3. Do not spam or post advertisements anywhere except the advertising board.
4. Try to remain active, or let us know you're going to be busy. Activity checks will be posted every month; you are allowed to miss two of them; when you miss three checks in a row, you're considered inactive and your characters are transferred or killed/adopted. By default, they will be transferred to other Weyrs; the other options are only used if you approve them beforehand.
Characters available for adoption are marked with an *A* after their names. Just fill out an app for them the same way you would for any other character. However, do not change any of the information that has already been provided for them, especially ages and dragon name and color, should they be a rider.
5. No character limits as long as you can keep up with all of them. If certain characters consistently get neglected, you may be asked to drop a few.
6. There's no official word count, as I personally dislike them. 100 words is a good lower limit to shoot for; more important than the number of words in your post is that you include enough action and dialogue to give the other players enough to respond to, rather than just introspection.
