Aandielth had his wings spread out so that hey caught the sun. And D'nalis was taking advantage of this fact, sitting in the shade under those large bronze wings.
The blonde man sat, leaning back against his dragon, fingers laced behind is head. His characteristic piece of wheat was being chewed thoughtfully between his teeth. He relished the time off. Always something to say for it.
Aandielth snorted. You think too lightly of things.
D'nalis sighed. Typical Aandielth, having to rain on his parade with his ever high and mighty remarks. One of those things he didn't much care for about his beast. But that was that. He loved Aandielth. They just sometimes annoyed each other, what with not being the most compatible match ever.
He opened one pale blue eye and looked up at his dragon who angled an eye that swirled colors of amusement back at him. D'nalis gave a short chuckle that he cut off when Aandielth snorted. "So you're allowed to enjoy me being annoyed with you, but I'm not allowed to enjoy you enjoying me being annoyed with you?" he asked his dragon aloud, tone rather passive and neutral. They had had this conversation before, not that a dragon would remember, depending on how long ago that just so happened to be.
He shook his head slightly and closed his eye again, letting out a breath through his nose and started to chew the piece of straw again. He was a rather ridiculous sight to some other BronzeRiders, but let them think what they will. He had achieved a lot compared to some of those who tended to think him strange. Not that he even cared what others thought of him. "What do you think, Hon?" he asked his dragon, again aloud. He didn't think anything of it. He knew he could just ask him in his mind, but he liked to talk aloud sometimes. It was good to exercise the vocal chords. It would be nice to have another person to talk to too, though, he supposed.
I think things are difficult.
D'nalis sighed. That was Aandielth. An eloquent dragon to a point, but at others, simple, straight to the point. That was all he'd probably get from the Bronze of his impressions at this point.
