K'lin sighed as he made his way to the weyrling barracks. He stopped outside. Alright Bearith, let them know to come outside. He looked up at his blue dragon as he spoke, and was glad for his company through all of this. Young weyrlings please bring Your's outside for your first lesson. Bearith turned a large, swirling eye on His, waiting for his eye ridges to be scratched. K'lin smiled and reached up one hand to scratch the blue's eye ridges. Alright you, what exactly are we going to do? We can't exactly teach them to fly yet, and no one can leave the Weyr. The large blue dragon crooned at His, he knew that the man would come up with something to distract the weyrlings from the previous days happenings. Bearith had always had confidance in K'lin, that is why he picked him out of all the other candidates that had touched his egg before he hatched.
K'lin smiled and turned his attention to the weyrlings that would soon be arriving. The man's mind was going a mile-a-minute, and to those that knew him well enough, you could almost see the gears turning as he thought of something for the weyrlings to do. I wonder how well the weyrlings are at controling their legs Bear. At the sound of the pet name K'lin used, the blue dragon crooned. He himself had trouble at times when he tried to run on the ground, though, after years of practice, he has gotten pretty good at it. Not as well as they will some day Mine. K'lin nodded his head at the dragon's words. He knew that the dragonets and Their's would need something to do to keep their minds off of everything that was going on, and the stress that came with becoming a weyrling. I think I have an idea. He wasn't sure his idea would work, but it was worth a try.
