Another Hatching? (Wild Flitter Hatching)

It had been two days since the disastrous Hatching Feast, and though M'cant still had a fierce headache and no appetite, the worst of the symptoms had passed. L'cal was not so lucky; from what he heard, the Weyrleader was still vomiting up anything he ate and was letting everyone around him know just how miserable he was. The healer had finally restricted bronzerider and greenrider both to their weyrs, in L'cal's case more to get him out of everyone's hair, M'cant thought.

M'cant's problem was Papilionth. The green already seemed to have forgotten that her rider was poisoned only two days ago, and she was complaining about not having anything to do. I'm bored, why can't we go flying or something?

This was not helping M'cant's headache. The entire Weyr's on lockdown, remember? Not that it had done any good. They still had no idea who was responsible for the poisoning, and the visitors had begun to get restless at their enforced stay. He doubted they'd be able to keep the holders inside much longer.

But I wanted to see that fire lizard clutch hatch! The green whined. A few days before Wapitith's hatching, they had found a wild fire lizard queen's clutch, but they were soon chased away by the protective mother. M'cant had planned to go back and see if he could bring some of the eggs back to the Weyr, but, well, then the Feast happened. Sensing M'cant's thoughts, Papi continued, And I know the mother is gone now. The eggs are unprotected; if you don't get them, the tunnelsnakes will.

That made him stop. Papi, he groaned. Tell me you haven't been sneaking out of the Weyr!

Not far,[/color] Papilionth replied. And not for very long, so nobody noticed. Anyway, the mother's disappeared; I saw a black flitter hanging around them, but he's gone too, so nobody's watching them now. Can we go, please?

M'cant blinked. A black fire lizard? He assumed Papilionth was just confused. He knew how easy it was to mistake a dark-colored animal as pitch black, especially in the evening when he assumed Papi had gone to see the clutch. Then again, considering the garnet dragon that just hatched...

Let me go ask Sitka, he finally said.

He was surprised at how easily she agreed. The other greenrider shrugged, pointing out that it would be a good opportunity to take everyone's mind off of the poisoning. Besides, Impressing a fire lizard might help to calm down some of the more irate guests. She did insist on going with him, however, and with M'cant still nursing that headache, he didn't complain.

As Papilionth had said, there were no fire lizards around at all, aside from Sitka's bronze Anno, when they arrived at the edge of a lake where the clutch was buried. The rider uncovered sixteen eggs in all, and stored them safely away to be taken back to the Weyr. They went the long way, to avoid exposing them to between, and then it was just a matter of waiting for the eggs to hatch.

They didn't have a long wait. The eggs had been set up in a room in the lower caverns that got a lot of traffic, nestled together in a basket warmed by a fireplace. Later the same evening, Sitka's Anno, who had been watching the eggs, went to her and hummed, letting her know they were hatching. By the time she arrived in the room with the clutch, M'cant was already there.

Attention everyone! There are fire lizard eggs hatching in the lower caverns! Get down here quickly if you want to Impress one. Guests and visitors to the Weyr are welcome to try for one, as well as riders and weyrfolk.

A'lik sighed as he walked around the weyrbowl. He hadn't let himself have any time to rest since the feast. He ewas too worried to relax. He almost jumped out of his skin when he heard Papilionth's voice. His own dragon has kept his voice out of A'lik's head, Moruth understood that A'lik was worried and needed time to himself. A'lik guessed that he might as well go and watch the eggs hatch, he wasn't really interested in impressing one, but if he did, then so be it. So he made his way to the room that had the eggs. So far he only saw two people, M'cant and Sitka. Greetings to both of you. His voice was flat and emotionless as he spoke to the green riders.

Akira was finally taking some time by herself to get her mind off of what had happened at the feast. She sighed and shook her head. How could someone do something like that? I do not know Akiramine. Papilionth says that there is a firelizard clutch ready to hatch. Akira smiled when she heard Amaranth's voice inside her head. The garnet dragon had stayed in their room so that Akira could have a chance to be by herself. Amaranth thought that maybe if Hers could go and watch the clutch hatch she might feel better, Akira agreed with this, and went to find them. She stood just outside the doorway, wondering if it was ok that she was here.

Sitka nodded to A'lik. He wasn't the only one who'd had a rough couple days, but she tried to give him a smile at least. She watched the eggs as the first one began to crack open. It was a smaller one, deep green in color, and she was unsurprised when a medium-sized green crawled out of the shell.

She stretched her wings. While her main body was a mossy green color, her wings were speckled with a darker shade, along with her head and tail. The green fire lizard glanced about her, and then lightning-quick, jumped out of the basket. She landed in a heap of the ground but apparently unharmed, staring up at A'lik imperiously. Why wasn't he feeding her already?



Appearance: Medium sized, mossy green with darker markings on head and wings.
Personality: Clever and a quick thinker, she's very reactive and short-tempered, but extremely loyal and gentle with her owner.
Owner: A'lik


Sitka winced and gave a sigh. "Sorry, it seems these things have a mind of their own. Hello, Akira," she said, spotting the weyrling and waving her into the room.

Another egg had cracked open already, revealing a bright, purplish blue hatchling. He was a handsome beast, with a dark head and wings more purple than blue. He was also surprisingly large for a blue. He stared calmly at the room around him, and finally set his eyes on Akira. He crooned happily, and though he didn't leap at her like his sister, he sent welcoming thoughts to her.



Appearance: A bright, middling shade of blue with a dark head and wings with a purplish tone to them, he is large for a blue.
Personality: Mellow and mild-mannered, rarely flirts but enjoys the company of other lizards, patient and fiercely loyal.

Owner: Akira

Sitka shook her head and handed a plate of meat to A'lik, while M'cant did the same with Akira. "Jeez, these things certainly have a mind of their own. Maybe Papilionth should have added a warning. Don't watch unless you're okay with Impressing?"

She wouldn't mind having another fire lizard of her own, and she knew Anno would like the company as well. With the way the bronze was humming and doting over the clutch, one might have thought he was the father of it, even though Sitka was pretty sure he wasn't.

Mine, there is a firelizard clutch hatching in the lower caverns.

Zanira turned her head in surprise at the comment, after all there had been no firelizard flights and no one was supposed to leave the weyr. So how was there now a firelizard clutch in the lower caverns? She guessed it didn't matter, the firelizards would need homes and whom was she to deny them a mother? Getting to her feet she walked through the weyr, first visiting the kitchens to pick up some meat, and then making her way down toward the lower caverns where the eggs where waiting. Stepping in she nodded to the people that where already there and moved toward the fireplace where the eggs where resting in their basket.

Smiling she waited to see just what would happen next.

Seana walked into the room a short while later, her eyes looking around nervously as if she wasn't sure that it was okay for her to be there. Once she was sure it was okay she stepped further into the room, and stepped to stand near Zanira, one hand digging in her pocket to check for the snacks that she had stowed there earlier in the day.

Sitka frowned suddenly. The hatching of the blue had revealed another egg hidden beneath its siblings, and this one, though a pale orange in color, showed a faint hint of the iridescence that had shown on Amaranth's egg. It was cracking open, but another egg was threatening to beat it.

This was a medium-sized egg with a sky-blue shell. It wriggled furiously as cracks lined its shell, and all at once a blue snout poked through the shell. It was a large, muscular flit, even for a hatchling. The blue looked over at the iridescent egg and curled around his unhatched sibling protectively, urging the fire lizard inside to hatch.

Finally, it did so, and Sitka's eyes widened. Apparently garnets weren't only restricted to dragons. Indeed, the newest hatchling fire lizard was clearly a garnet, though her hide was a brighter shade of red, close to pink in fact. She looked at her overprotective brother and trilled flirtatiously, but soon pushed past him in order to find food. Ah, there it was! In Zanira's hands. The garnet lizard creeled and stretched her neck toward the meat in the greenrider's hands, clearly having already made her choice.



Appearance: Long, slender body, large and enduring in the air. Irridescent pinkish red hide with no marks.
Personality: She is vain and vulnerable to flattery and attention, and quite flirtatious. Doesn't get upset easily, but throws quite a fit when she is angry.
Owner: Zanira

"Well, isn't that interesting," Sitka said with a glance at M'cant.

He shrugged. "Papi did say she saw a black fire lizard around the clutch. Maybe that was the father after all."

Now that his sister was safe, as far as he was concerned, the blue's thoughts turned toward food for himself. He smelled plenty of it around, since Sitka and M'cant had made sure to bring plenty with them from the kitchens, but this fire lizard was interested in the smells coming from Seana's pockets. He chirped curiously at her.



Appearance: Large, muscular blue, strong flier with good endurance. Very dark blue, lighter belly but otherwise solid.
Personality: Mopy and easily depressed, but at heart an optomistic and willing to help however he can. Extremely protective.

A'lik mustered a smile and nodded to Sitka, he didn't mean anything by the way he ewas acting, he was just worried about Cass, but his thoughts were dragged back to the firelizard eggs when he heard one start hatching. He watched as a nice sized green popped out of the egg, and lept out of the basket. His eyes widened in shock as he watched the green flit. He bent down and picked her up, graciously taking the plate of meat that Sitka offered him after another egg hatched, this one happened to be a blue. The man started to wonder why he had gotten the female when his finger got a sharp nip by the little creature. Alright, alright I'm feeding you, I'm feeding you. His words were a lot more emotional now that he had something to take his mind off of his worry. He handed the green firelizard one piece of meat after the other, making sure that she didn't choke on any of it. Hmmm...what to call you...what to call you. A'lik turned his head from side to side as he thought about a name for his new flit. Hmmmm....I think I'll call you Midori. He wasn't sure where he head heard that word before, but he did know that it was another word for green, and because she was a green the name fit. Midori crooned happily when Hers finally said her name, though, she was more interested in the food he was feeding her.

Akira watched as the first egg hatched, and a green firelizard flung herself at the brown rider Akira believed was called A'lik. She smiled as the man picked her up, and bonded with the little creature. She looked up when Sitka spoke to her. Hello Sitka. Her voice was soft and respectful as she spoke to the woman. After all, it was Sitka's dragon that had clutched the egg that had given Akira Amaranth. She gave a quick smile, and cautiously made her way into the room, slightly worried about what would happen when the other eggs hatched. Akira turned her attention to the blueish purple firelizard that had hatched out of the second egg. He's gorgous. Her words were little more than a whisper as she stared at the male firelizard. She slowly made her way over to the basket of eggs, and knelt down. She picked up the blue firelizard and smiled at the way he crooned, and sent her happy thoughts. She took the plate of meat that M'cant handed to her, and started feeding her firelizard. He is a very mild and mellow firelizard Akiramine. Akira smiled and nodded her head when she heard her dragon's reaction to the picture that Akira had sent her. Ama's right, I'll call you Milo. She smiled and watched him eat, and started to wonder if they would eat like a dragon could.

Zarina smiled as the firelizards started to hatch, and was beyond surprised when one hatched to reveal a hidden egg beneath it. The blue that hatched from the first egg wrapped around the irridescent shell of the egg, and before long the hidden egg hatched too. But what hatched from within it surprised her a great deal, it was a red female that looked very much like a smaller version of the garnet Amaranth. So the new color would appear in firelizards too huh? How interesting indeed. She was even more surprised when the garnet rushed over toward her and took the meet from her hands, and just like that the brightly colored female had impressed to her. Mouth open in surprise the candidate master looked down at the garnet, trying to think of a name while the female ate the food that she was offering to her. Then with a smile she thought of the perfect name for the brightly colored female and carefully helped the new hatchling up her arm as she spoke that name "You will be named Ruby". Ruby responded with a happy chirp and made herself comfortable, apparently unaware of the interested she had generated from others in the room.

Seana jumped in surprise, she had been so entranced by the garnet that she hadn't noticed the blue until he was sniffing at the food in her pocket. Turning her head she smiled, pulled out the small pastry that she had stored there and offered it toward him. Within an instant he was eating at the food happily and she couldn't help but chuckle "You are certainly hungry Storm" The strong looking male gave a chirp, crawled up her arm and wrapped around her neck protectively. His eyes whirled as he looked at the nearest person, making sure that they didn't come too close to his person.

Cassondra blinked, opening her eyes. She had been resting. She was mostly better by now... But she still had a terrible headache still. It was only aggravated by Papilionth's announcement. Cassondra lay there, staring up the ceiling. She wasn't sure she wanted to go... but... Well... It would be a good diversion. She stood slowly, making sure the world didn't spin, which it didn't, and slowly made her way down to the Lower Caverns and the clutch. She didn't really feel that bad. Standing was nice, honestly. She sighed and walked in to where the Clutch was. "Hello Sitka," she said to the other GreenRider, giving a small smile.

She looked over at the clutch. It was a rather Impressive clutch, especially for firelizards.
Mine... Are you going to get one? Cassondra just smiled, not answering her dragoness.

D'nalis yawned, just waking up. He had slept in today. What after all the excitement. But he wasn't going to claim to have had it that bad. He hadn't even been one of those who had gotten sick. He blinked as he heard Papilionth's voice in his head. Lizards. He grinned. He loved lizards.

No Mine! Lizards are annoying little bugs. D'nalis just laughed. He hoped he did attach one. Just to annoy Aandielth.

He smiled at Sitka. "How are you?" He spotted Zanira and saw that she had Impressed a little Garnet. Well, what did you know? "Hey Zanira." He walked over to her and gave her, looking at the little Garnet.

Banalii jumped up and ran to the Lower Caverns the moment she heard the Green's announcement. Flitters! She hoped she attached one... And! It would just be exciting. What with everything that had been going on and the way things have been... there wasn't much fun to be had.

she nearly ran right past the GreenRiders, but stopped short to bow respectfully, panting. "Hello. How are you doing today?" she asked, her words rushed and hardly intelligible past her panting. She had an almost foolish grin on her face. She was just excited, but Banalii, when she was excited... Well.. it definitely showed.

He wasn't sure what to do to keep himself busy. After the Feast incident, the Infirmary had been sharding busy - like ants, people running to and for and everyone trying to keep the place running. Navir barely knew what was going on, he simply followed the orders barked at him and scrambled to do as requested. Finally, when he felt like he was gonna crash out right where he was it, the Healers had chased him off to sleep.

He had barely found his bed, flopping out on it without stripping. He knew he needed to clean up - he didn't have the energy. Even Dorian's chirps failed to get a rise out of the Candidate. "What do you want, Dorian?" Turning his head, he fixed the Brown flit with a glare, only to get a nip on the nose from the rowdy creature. "What the?! You little-"

'Attention everyone! There are fire lizard eggs hatching in the lower caverns! Get down here quickly if you want to Impress one. Guests and visitors to the Weyr are welcome to try for one, as well as riders and weyrfolk.' The Green's voice filled his mind. That would explain it! Dorian thrilled, taking wing to spiral in the air over Navir's head.

"I see how you are... hoping to get me to go down and see if we can get you a playmate, is that it?" He couldn't help the smile as Dorian thrilled again, hovering and looking at the boy. He was lonely, Navir knew that - at home he had had Taggert to play with, but here.... "Okay Okay. Let me get changed."

Dorian seemed to understand, landing on the bed and chirping impatiently as Navir quickly changed out of his soiled clothing and into something clean. Holding a hand out, he beckoned Dorian join him as he headed out the door. The Brown on his shoulder, he followed the flow to the Lower Caverns.

Dipping his head in greeting to the Riders and others as he slipped in, he started at the sight of the little Garnet toned flitter. Man! If they had been just a little earlier... He managed not to show the disappointment as Dorian settled into a crouch on his shoulder. The little Brown remained quiet, watching the eggs with bright eyes. Navir knew that Dorian would be happy with any playmate, but the candidate himself hoped for a little female to pair with him. It would be nice to have the option, at least....

"Hey Cass, D'nalis," Sitka waved to her friends before offering each of them a plate of meat. "I assume you're hear for the fire lizards. And yeah, we've had a bit of excitement already," she added with a glance at the newly-christened Ruby.

In the basket of eggs, another one was beginning to crack open. This was one of the smallest eggs, with a pale yellow shell. Sitka assumed it would hatch a green, but she was taken by surprise when a bright orange hatchling escaped the shell. She gaped, surprised. Or perhaps she shouldn't be, considering the garnet. Was this what they could expect from future clutches?

The orange didn't care about any fuss. He spread his wings and began cleaning his hide, bright sunny orange with hints of yellow to it. Only then did he look at the people assembled, before choosing Cassondra. That one looked interesting!



Appearance: Well-built, medium-sized, bright, bright orange hide with a hint of yellow. A bit smaller than a green on average, will be able to chase greens only
Personality: A rebellious and brave flitter as well as flirtatious, though only chases greens. Fiercely protective of his owner and willing to fight to protect them, and is a very good fighter.

Unnoticed by Sitka or M'cant, a largish, tan egg began to hatch as well, and soon it revealed a huge, burly brown hatchling. He chirped excitedly, shaking his dark brown body, and stumbled eagerly toward D'nalis. Maybe that one would get him some food?



Appearance: Big, burly body and long wings, a handsome beast. Dark brown with a chocolate belly and wings.
Personality: A huge flirt, very friendly and outgoing, but extremely quiet the rest of the time. Gets antsy when kept in one place for too long.

More eggs were hatching faster now. At the same moment, a small blue-green egg and a bigger grey egg both began to hatch at the same time. Soon two more greens had hatched from their eggs. From the smaller egg, a tiny, yellowish-green hatchling emerged, sporting deep green speckles on her back and flanks.

The larger egg revealed a huge, solidly-built green with stumpy wings and a bad temper. The larger green hissed at her siblings, though she ignored the smaller green, and she practically leaped at Banalii, demanding to be fed.



Appearance: Big, bulky green with short, stumpy wings, clumsy flier. Silvery-green hide with a yellow-green belly and dark wings.
Personality: Extremely bad-tempered, flies into a rage far too easily. Difficult to get along with and very aggressive during flights.
Owner: Banalii

Once her large and ferocious sister was out of the way, the smaller green stepped forward. She wasn't upset; she was actually quite calm and mild-mannered as she looked at the rapidly growing crowd of humans around her. Then she spotted Dorian, a big, friendly-looking full grown fire lizard, and she crooned. She liked him! Wasn't he supposed to have food, though? She pondered the dilemma, ignoring the human attached to Dorian.



Appearance: A tiny green with well-proportioned limbs. She has a yellowish-green hide and deep green speckles on her back and sides.
Personality: Calm and mellow most of the time but very patient and protective of her friends.
Owner: Dorian

Cassondra saw A'lik with a Green flitter and gave him a thumbs up, not knowing he he would see it. She would go talk to him in a minute.... Cassondra was about to make a comment when the small egg started to crack open and an orange flitter escaped the small shell. "Well... what a surprise." And the surprises continued as the Orange picked her. "Well..."

She grabbed some meet from a bowl and started to feed the little orange. He eagerly swallowed the meat that she offered him. What would she name him? She wasn't entirely sure. "Well... Won't everyone be surprised to see you?" she said to him. He chirrupped for a moment, but quickly started eating again. Cassondra was trying to hold him as she fed him, which wasn't entirely easy as he tried to get the meat she was slowly feeding him at the moment. But, soon, he relaxed. "Well, looks like we're in for a lot of surprises," she said, turning to give Sitka a smile. She looked at the little orange who was asleep on her forearm. What should she name him... "Hmm.... Well... I think... I'm going to call him Soran." She grinned at him as he looked up at her with a swirling contented eye. "If you'll excuse me." She gave Sitka a nod and walked over towards A'lik. "Well, A'lik, looks like we both attached a flitter." She grinned, her headache forgotten.

D'nalis nodded to Sitka. "Yep. It'd seem Zanira was lucky enough to attach the Garnet." He grinned at her and gently reached over, giving her shoulders a gentle rub. He didn't notice the egg that hatched the large Brown... Not until the Brown had come up to him and was looking at him. "Well... would you look at this." He grinned and grabbed some meat from a nearby bowl before calmly bending down and starting to feed the Brown a piece at a time. He had no idea what he was going to call him at this point... But he would come up with it soon enough. He fed the little Brown until his hunger was sated and grinned at the flitter who was now laying across his forearm. "Well.... What should I name him...?" he grinned, really not sure about it.

Banalii yelped as the Green flitter jumped at her. "Well aren't you brash," she said, feeling somewhat irritated as she grabbed some meat and started shoveling it into the eager green's mouth. She kept on feeding her and feeding her, even when she was almost certain that she was going to burst. "You are one brash, ill tempered little flitter. I'm going to call you Il just 'cause of that." She frowned as the flitter finally tired and settled down then sighed and smile. She would definitely be an interesting companion! She looked around, and grinned, seeing another person with the smaller green... although.. It didn't look like she was attached to him....

Ennayla was so glad she hadn't eaten the soup. She hadn't seen anyone who had been sick recently, but when she heard Papilionth's announcement, she had decided it was a good enough reason to just go see how M'cant was fairing. She stepped in with her normal grace, though the light in her eyes was rather mischievous. "How are you fairing today?" she asked, not even naming any of the people she was speaking too, simply assuming the would know who she was talking to.

She pulled her black hair over one shoulder and turned her nearly black eyes on those around the room. "Seems this hatching has been interesting..."

Navir watched the hatching with intense interest - he had never seen so many firelizard eggs in one hatching. Dorian and Taggert had been simply two eggs of a clutch of five; nothing like this. He thought for sure that the Garnet would be the shocker of the group - and he was wrong.

The little Orange was... wow. He thought at first it might have been a Bronze, but the colors were all wrong. Did that mean more strange, er... 'unique' colors might lay in the eggs? He could hope. The little Brown that followed was simple but handsome - he reminded Navir of Dorian when his own little Brown had hatched. But this one was much, much darker - Dorian cooed at the new hatchling flitters.

The pair of greens followed. Navir was a little taken back at the aggression of the one; thankfully she jumped away from him. He really didn't want a flitter that he thought might attack him in his sleep, and the dark green was a little too much like a angry Gold for his tastes. He was so interested by all the hatchlings, he almost missed the little one tumbling toward them.

It wasn't until Dorian chirped down to the speckled Green. Navir dropped his eyes to her, surprised she was so calm. She cooed at Dorian and Navir felt the little Brown fussing on his shoulder - Navir shook his head and smiled. Love at first sight? He didn't know, but it seemed pretty clear there was something there.

Collecting a bit of meat from a bowl nearby, Navir broke it apart with his fingers and crouched down. He gave a little to Dorian, then offered a bit to the tiny Green. "Hello there, little one? Interested in a bite to eat?"

The Green looked from Dorian to the human as if seeing him for the first time. The little one stepped back slightly, then looked at Dorian again. The Brown chittered, trying to encourage her to take the meat from Navir's hand. She cooed in response and trotted the little gap to Navir's fingers. Sagging the little meat from his fingers, Navir nodded.

"You are so small.. there is nothing to you." Dorian hummed softly as Navir collected the Green into his palms and offered her another bit of meat, which she snatched without hesitation. "Hum.. I guess we need a name for her. How about.... Iota? What you think, Dorian?" The Brown chirped his approval, finally descending from Navir's shoulder to his forearm to meet his new friend. Navir gave a soft laugh. "Ok then. Iota it is."

A'lik was too ingrossed in feeding the flit in his hands to really notice the crowd of people that seemed to have gathered in a reletively short amount of time. It wasn't until Midori was finished eating that he noticed the crowd. Then he saw Cassondra giving him a thumbs up. He smiled and lifted the green flit up onto his shoulder where she curled her tail around his neck, and relaxed a little. Midori chirped when she saw Her's smiling at someone, and she wanted to know who. Though, A'lik didn't pay her any mind when she chirped at him. He would make his way over to Cass when he was ready. Though, the next time he looked over at Cass, she had an orange firelizard in her hands. He started to wonder if she had impressed a bronze but it looked too orange to be a bronze. He slowly started to make his way through the crowd, and met Cassondra half-way through it.

A'lik smiled as he listened to Cass speak. I guess so, congratulations. He smiled, and laughed a little as he spoke. Midori on the other hand trilled curiously at the person Her's was talking to. This is Midori, what's his name? A'lik wasn't exactly sure if he had guessed the gender of Cassondra's firelizard correctly, but it was worth a try wasn't it? He was glad to see that she seemed to be feeling better now, and wondered if she had actually gotten sick, or if it was something else. He mentally shook himself, pulling himself away from those kinds of thoughts, though, he knew it might have been possible.

Akira smiled and giggled when Milo made his way up her arm, to rest on her shoulder. He wrapped his tail around Akira's neck, and was soon sleeping soundly on her shoulder. She smiled and slowly made her way through the crowd of people, and out of the room. Alright Milo, let's go show you to Amaranth. The blue flit didn't even twitched when Akira spoke to him. She smiled and left the caverns, making her way back to her room where Amaranth waited for her to come back.

Soran looked up with a slight protective hiss, moving up Cass's arm and wrapping his tail around her neck, eyes focused on A'lik. "Shh..." she scratched his chin and sent him reassuring feelings. He calmed down after a minute. "His name is Soran. Isn't he a strange little thing..." She grinned. "Midori is definitely a beautiful little thing. I wonder what Hasth and Moruth are going to think. Soran chirrupped and looked at Midori, crooning flirtatiously. He didn't seem to be so worried about A'lik anymore. She brushed her hair away from her face. It was loose and falling in its slight curl all around her. It was a bit annoying, what with the fact it kept getting in her face. She was still a little bit pale still, and, if she weren't so happy and excited about her flitter, she would have probably noticed that her head hurt still.

The possibility that she may not actually have gotten sick never crossed her mind. But, then again, that kind of thing was not something she was well versed in.

He will never sit on me. Ever. She let out a huff of air where she was sunning herself near the lake. Annoying bugs.

Cass grinned and covered her mouth to keep from laughing. "Seems Hasth is already none to pleased about having a couple of flitters around."
