D’nalis is a young man of deeply tanned skin and sandy blond hair. He is tall, about 6’3” with a rather athletic build. He generally stands with a certain slouch, but still manages to come across as dignified when he decides he needs to. It is not uncommon to find him chewing the end of a piece of wheat in a relaxed manner. His eyes are a dark blue color. He has several freckles that he has gained from working outside.
Personality:
D’nalis is a very relaxed, laid back, and intelligent individual. He is often actually thinking constantly, though most people think little of him because of his continually laid back nature. He comes across as a slacker, which continually aggravates his dragon and causes arguments between the pair, though they aren’t quite hostile to each other. D’nalis is the kind of guy you want to tell your troubles to. He doesn’t always like this, but he can’t help but listen and care about what people have to say. Underneath the supposed façade of a slacker is a good leader with a very calm and collected head. He never jumps into anything and always thinks about his course of action. He enjoys leading, even if it doesn’t seem like it. He chooses not to present himself in such a way that would be necessarily intimidating, though, when he decides to drop the laid back nature, he is decidedly not a man to be trifled with. He can have a bit of a bad temper, but generally he is anything but violent.
History:
Daninnalis was born to Riders of Benden Weyr 25 Turns ago. They were Weyrfolk who were responsible for caring for the herdbeasts, feed animals, and so on from the Weyr. His parents came to a point where the decided to send him to a Hold in order to further practice Beastcraft. When he was 13 Turns, he returned the Weyr and stood before a SearchDragon and was chosen to stand.
He remembered each time. The hot sands, hatching eggs. He stood several times within his two Turns of Candidacy.
It wouldn’t be until the end of those Two Turns he would Impress to a Bronze of all creatures. A dignified, arrogant, prideful, stubborn Bronze named Aandielth, and, at which point, he became known as D’nalis.
D’nalis often credits the fact that he was attacked by another dragonet for the fact that he Impressed Aandielth, though his dragon adamantly denies it and insists the reason is that D’nalis is fully capable.
D’nalis didn’t gain any scars from the Hatching, but that was simply because Aandielth jumped into the fray, allowing the much smaller Green’s tooth to rake down his own shoulder at the time, leaving the dragon with a scar. He did not let the Green get away with that and returned what he received in kind in his anger.
D’nalis and Aandielth have long had their difficulties as a pair. They would argue often. D’nalis’ laid back nature has always been in conflict with his dragon’s own personality. However, this has seemed to change them little and they have seemed to use their two opposite personalities as strength, working their way up in ranks to become Wingleaders at Benden.
However, recently, he has requested a transfer to Alietran Weyr in order to have a new start and, hopefully to simply find something new as he is actually quite bored with life right now.

Aandielth is a somewhat larger Bronze with a warm tone to his hide. His legs, tail, and snout are a little darker along with the hide spanning over the bones of his Wings. He has a lighter colored scar on his shoulder from the day of his birth. He wears it as a badge of honor and pride for what it represents. His willingness to protect, especially to protect His.

Aandielth is a very dignified dragon in that he always presents himself as royalty. He is a prince in his own mind. He is decidedly arrogant. He has a bit of a temper problem and will react far more violently than His in that case. He tends to react too quickly and jump into anything, believing that he is always right.
