Physical Appearance:
A'lik has black hair that he always keeps cut short. His black hair sometimes looks blue, depending on the way the light hits it. He makes sure to keep his hair from growing any longer than the top of his ears. He has rich, tan skin that seems to be stretched over very strong muscles. A'lik is 6' tall and weights 160lbs. Most of his weight comes from his muscles. A'lik has dark brown eyes that seem to shine even though they are so dark. A'lik likes to wear his riding pants no matter what he's doing, or where he's going, this way he will be ready for anything and everything. At least, that's what he believes. He also wears his riding boots all the time. Yet this man has enough manners to wear a nice dress suit for special occasions. He even has a pair of nice, black, leather boots to go with his nice dress suit. He walks with great pride, and his back is always kept straight, and his head held high.
Personality:
A'lik isn't really afraid of anything, at least, that's the way he makes it look. Just like everyone else there are things that scare him, he just does his best not to show it. He is actually really easy to get along with. Which is pretty surprising given his argumentative streak. He is a pretty careful person, especially when talking to those high ranking individuals. He is always relaxed, and tries to have a good time no matter what he's doing, which often gets him in trouble. Some might say that he is pretty lecherous, and no matter how hard he fights to deny it, he can't help but checking out all the pretty ladies he sees. He has often been told that that will be the end of him. Yet he just shrugs it off with a smile on his face, and a wink in his eyes.
A'lik is a very argumentative person, and doesn't really know when to give up. He is actually an extremely respectful person, and can't stand it when he sees someone treating a woman badly. He is protective, and slightly arrogant, but his arrogant side doesn't really come out unless he has something he thinks is worth bragging about. He will gladly give up his life to protect, not only his Weyr, but everyone, and everything, around it. He has a hard time giving up, even when everything looks hopeless. He is a very relaxed individual. It doesn't matter what he's doing, he almost always looks calm, and coleccted. There are times when he looses that calm, relaxed demeanor, and becomes a very vicious person. It normally takes a lot to get on A'lik's bad side, but there are a few things that can set him off in an instant.
A'lik is a very loving, loyal, and trusting person all-in-all. He will love someone will all of his heart, yet he is still a human, and has a hard time dealing with the loss of someone he loved. He is extremely loyal, and will never turn his back on anyone that has earned his trust, and loyalty. One of A'lik's many faults is that he is a little too willing to trust people. He has always been this way, and so far he doesn't show any sign of changing. He can be a pretty fun-loving person, especially when he's around young weyrlings.
History:
A'lik had a pretty normal childhood, except that his father had died before he was born. He never knew how his father died, and his mother had never offered to tell him either. Every time he would ask his mother what his father was like, she would just start screaming at him to just forget him, and try to pay more attention to his chores. His mother was a drudge at Alietran Weyr. He has lived his whole life there, and ever since he was a child he's always wanted to impress either a wher or even a dragon, just like his father.
Though his mother always said that he should forget about ever becoming a Rider or a handler, and instead try to become a Holder. His mother would always fight about this with him, and it would always end with A'lik walking away from his mother, and going to his room. He would stay in his room until his mother would call him out, and say she was sorry. A'lik would always forgive her, and they would always go back to the happy family that they always have been. It was during one of these fights that A'lik had gotten really upset, and had stormed out of their home into a really bad thunderstorm. He was sitting next to a tree when a lightning strike had splinters of shrapnel flying everywhere. Thankfully none of the splinters hit A'lik.
A'lik never had a hard life, and would always do what he could to help his mother with her work. He usually stayed out of Weyr business, but when he heard that there was going to be a dragon clutch, he did everything he could to become a candidate for the hatching. Since that day A'lik has been working as hard as he could so that he might have a better chance at impressing a dragon hatchling, even if it was just a blue or green. When the clutch was finally ready to hatch, A'lik was beside himself with excitement. He had slept in his robes just to make sure that he would be ready for when the candidates were called to the sands.
A'lik stood on the hot sands, anxiously waiting for the dragons to start hatching. A bronze was the first to hatch, and he believed that was a very good sign. He watched as the bronze chose his candidate, and left the sands. To A'lik's dissapointment, it wasn't him that had been chosen. A'likMine, would you not be happy with me? A'lik jumped when he heard a dragon's voice inside his head. He stared at the large brown dragonet that was sitting in front of him, staring at him with rainbow eyes. At that moment, he realized that he had impressed a brown dragon.
Your Moruth is hungry, may we get food now? A'lik nodded and dumbly led the dragonet from the sands, and over to the food. After feeding the bottomless pit Moruth called a stomach, A'lik oiled his brown hide. The two of them were pretty much inseperable from that point on. When Moruth was four turns old, the large brown dragon won his first flight. That was the flight of Gold Eynalth. A'lik was glad that the large brown had caught the golden dragon. To tell the truth, that was A'lik's only claim to fame. The brown and gold's clutch had twelve eggs, which really was a suprise to A'lik and Moruth. The two of them have yet to win another flight, but are still trying.

Wings: DEB887
Underside: 8B4513
Size:
40ft.
Age:
15 Turns
Clutch Parents:

Physical Appearance:
Moruth is very large for a brown dragon, being close to the size of a small bronze. He is a light brown with a darker brown underside, and very light translucent wings. Even though he is very large, he doesn't really have any problems staying in the sky for long periods of time. His large muscles help give him the stamina he needs, even though he isn't very agile as some of the smaller ranks. For some reason the thing that makes this large brown stand out more than his height is the fact that his front legs are exactly the same size as his rear legs. This gives him a smoother gait than most dragon's on the ground, but it does help people pick him out of a crowd.
Personality:
Moruth is a very calm, and gentle dragon. He is a hard worker, just like his rider. He is very loyal, much like a dog in that fact really. He would never betray His, or any that he deems are worthy of his loyalty and trust. He is a pretty laid back dragon, but he isn't so much so that he could be called lazy. He likes to be outside working around the Weyr or teaching the candidates and werylings about what it is like to be a dragon. He isn't self-conscious as many would think because of the length of his front legs. Instead he is very proud of they grace they allow him to walk on the ground with. It makes him feel better whenever he has to walk around the Weyr. He is a "gentle giant" so to speak, and is often found calming His down whenever he gets upset.
Mind-Voice:
I am Moruth, this is A'likMine.
Moruth's voice is very calm, gentle, and strong all at the same time. His voice is kinda like a smooth flowing river, and is gentle on one's mind. It feels as though it is gently caressing one's mind like that of some-one's protective older brother.
