Physical Appearance:

Zanira has shoulder length dark brown hair that is often pulled back into several loose braids. The shorter strands of her bangs often drift to fall in to her dark brown eyes that seem too innocent looking for a person of her age, and once you couple that with her youthful features you get a women that looks ten years younger then she really is. Her smooth skin holds a very slight tan due to her years of hard work as a Dragonrider, and only the very few observant people would be able to notice the host of light brown freckles that drift over her cheeks. She is an averagely tall female compared to other female humans and has a softly curved, yet slim body. However don't let her slim body fool you for she is surprisingly strong for her size, every part of her body is packed with lean muscle, and there isn't an inch of fat on her.


Personality:

She is quiet and reserved, and is the kind of woman that has a great deal of patience when it comes to dealing with youngsters. However under this facade of calmness there is a fun loving woman waiting for the work day to be other, and once that happens it's hard to imagine that Zanira is the same person that you had seen teaching earlier in the day. She especially loves to dance, and enjoys spending time in her weyr dancing to some internal music that she has playing in her head .. and it's all the better if she happens to have a partner to join her.

Zanira is a listener and will work with her students to work through any issues they may have, taking it upon herself to be a mother type figure for the candidates in her care. After all she remembers all too well what it is like to be pulled away from your friends and family, put in a room with someone you didn't know, and then expected to stand at a clutch that you might not even impress at. She's understanding and pragmatic, and willingly makes compromises if a request if made of her.


History:

Zanira was born in Alietran weyr to a woman named Hannia, and despite endless questioning she never did find out her father's name. All she knows that during a flight a young blue rider, having not won the flight, had decided to relieve his sexual frustrations upon the young woman and left shortly after. The shame Hannia felt of falling pregnant was enough to stop her from finding the man, and she decided to raise her child as a single mother. It was a difficult task, but one that proved fruitful as she watched Zanira grow and prosper.

At the tender age of 18 she was searched by one of the blueriders of the weyr and stood at Gold Sirith's and Bronze Cherith's clutch. There she impressed to the Green Xerith whom felt that she had discovered a like mind in Zanira, and since then the pair have been inseparable. All through weyrling classes they proved themselves to be dedicated students, and even after they graduated the pair would continue proving themselves as students as they continued their learning. After all a wise man had once told a young Zanira that you never stopped learning, and she was eager to soak up any knowledge that she could gain from her fellow dragon riders.

When she reached her 23rd year of age she was asked to take the position of candidate master, and she humbly agreed as she felt that she had much she could teach the next generation of riders.

Physical Appearance:


Xerith is a well formed green that is more muscles then anything else, and is more comparable to a brown then a green when it comes to pure body mass. Deep forest green shading covers her entire body, with lighter dappling of paler greens highlighting her wings and eye ridges. With such coloring she doesn't really stand out much against her green sisters, but she's attractive and pretty enough in her own right once you get past her very masculine body shape.


Personality:

Xerith's personality is completely contradictory to her appearance, for despite her male appearance she is very feminine in her actions. She loves to dote upon her rider, and is very much a loving kind of Dragon. It's a shame that she and her rider chose to be fighters as she would have made a rather good mother, so to make up for this she mothers any Human, Firelizard, Wher, or Dragon that happens to come close to her. Xerith also loves to complement the fashion of humans, even going so far as to try and get her rider to let her wear a pair of human riding goggles on top of her head in her very own fashion statement.

Personality:
She is vain and vulnerable to flattery and attention, and quite flirtatious. Doesn't get upset easily, but throws quite a fit when she is angry.

Physical Appearance:
This blue boy is a deep sky blue with midnight blue wings that seem to be just a tad bit too large for his medium length body. His wings aren't the only thing that is too big for him, his tail is probably as large as that of a brown flit.

Personality:
This flit is EXTREMELY talkative. He likes to chatter to anyone that will listen to him. He is very friendly, obviously, but he doesn't really like meeting dragons. Though, once he get's used to one, the poor dragon won't be able to get rid of him.
